Review:
This dvd carries on the tradition with a tale of ten young
men invited to an exclusive country lodge for an unknown
purpose. It turns out that their elusive host (Matt Gunther)
plans on making use of them one by one, starting with
the appropriately pliant Cort Stevens (who never looked
more succulent). But these aren't the kind of guys who
wait to be asked to dance; even before their introductory
formal dinner, they start pairing off (Hunter Scott exploits
Vince Rockland's long foreskin with a fetishist's delight),
and after the banquet it's a lip-smacking orgy for dessert.
By Invitation Only gets multiple A's for atmosphere -
shadowy, sexy, slightly menacing, and ditto for flawless
casting, so long as viewers will accept the elfin Gunther
in his most dominant role to date. The atmosphere reaches
its apex in the master's taming of Stevens, with some
gorgeously lurid lighting and camerawork.
The climactic orgy is exceptionally well-staged, with
Brad Hunt a standout, though it's hapless Scott Wilder
who ends up being plowed when all the invitees line up
to bury their bones and splatter their seed across his
back one after the other, a tour de force for director
John Rutherford. At the end, viewers are left to imagine
the succeeding nights as Gunther invites the guests up
to his lair, one by one!
